COPA is pleased to announce the recipients of this year’s scholarship fund, Javed and Angelica. We would like to thank everyone who submitted an application, the recipients were randomly selected out of all of the qualified applicants and will each receive $1,000 towards their post-secondary education.

Javed Dungersi

The first recipient for 2020 is, Javed Dungersi from Maple, Ontario. Javed is enrolled at the Schulich School of Business at York University where he is pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. Javed’s mother, Tyna Dungersi, works at SYNNEX Canada.

Angelica DiGiancinto

The second recipient for 2020 is, Angelica DiGiacinto from Stoney Creek, Ontario. Angelica is enrolled at the University of Guelph in the Bachelor of Arts and Science program and she has chosen to specialize in Neuroscience and Psychology. Angela’s father, Angelo DiGiacinto, works at Beatties.

Congrats to Javed and Angelica! We wish you much success in your first year and in all your future endeavours.

COPA Scholarship
Funds for this scholarship are provided through donations from generous COPA members throughout the year. The funds raised each year determine both the number of scholarships that will be awarded in the following academic year and the value of each scholarship.
