Associations appeal to Prime Minister to make critical decisions to protect businesses and workers during COVID-19 outbreak.

The Canadian Office Products Association along with 15 other trade associations joined forces with the Canadian Manufacturers Coalition in a letter addressed to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

“Our major concern during these challenging times continues to be the wellbeing and safety of the business products community,” stated Sam Moncada, COPA’s president. “There is no doubt that the emergency measures that have been announced by the federal and some provincial governments, while necessary for the health and safety of all Canadians, are going to have an enormous impact on this sector. We believe that the recommendations outlined in this letter will allow this sector to remain strong once this crisis passes.”
