Global Furniture is hiring a full-time Toronto-based E-Commerce Specialist with 5+ years of experience in consumer goods, furniture, or related industries, with experience with major online retail partners and national office products companies.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 5+ years in e-commerce, product management, or channel sales support, ideally within consumer goods, furniture, or a related industry. Experience with major online retail partners.
- Experience with National Office products companies is recommended but not essential.
Pricing and Market Analysis Skills:
- Proven experience in setting competitive pricing and conducting market analysis.
Digital Merchandising Knowledge:
- Familiarity with digital content optimization and best practices for e-commerce merchandising.
Analytical Ability:
- Strong skills in analyzing sales data and using insights to make data-driven decisions.
Collaboration Skills:
- Excellent interpersonal skills to coordinate with both internal teams and external retail partners.
Product Selection and Positioning:
- Identify and select key stock items suited for online sales channels, ensuring product mix aligns with market demand.
- Collaborate with retail partners to enhance product listings, ensuring accurate, appealing, and well-branded presentation on e-commerce platforms.
Pricing Strategy and Market Analysis:
- Conduct competitor analysis and market research to set competitive pricing strategies that balance profitability with sales volume.
- Adjust pricing based on market trends, customer demand, and performance data.
Digital Merchandising and Content Optimization:
- Work with retail partners to ensure optimal digital merchandising, including high-quality product descriptions, images, and specifications that adhere to best practices for online conversion.
- Align product content with Global’s branding and quality standards.
Inventory and Stock Coordination:
- Coordinate with inventory and supply chain teams to align stock levels with online demand, minimizing stock-outs and overstock situations.
- Collaborate with retail partners to anticipate demand fluctuations and adjust inventory planning accordingly.
Sales Performance Monitoring and Analysis:
- Monitor and analyze online sales data, conversion rates, and other performance metrics, using insights to refine product selections and sales strategies.
- Report findings and recommendations for product offerings, pricing, and promotion adjustments to optimize online sales performance.
