ConnectPro is bringing together gen Xers and Yers for some meaningful learning and networking time  on March 25th. If you haven’t registered yet, be sure to do so soon! The leaning and connecting will take place at Canyon Creek Chophouse (25 Carlson Ct, Etobicoke, ON M9W 6A2) and includes a special presentation, drinks and food. The first meeting will discuss the topic: “The Power of Connection: Boosting Your Career in 2020 and Beyond.”

The benefits of networking have been proven over-and-over again. As the younger generations seek to advance their careers, building social capital and increasing their business knowledge is key to their success. COPA has launched this unique initiative to specifically help Gen X and Y workers grow within the industry and their organizations to achieve their professional goals, thereby securing their place in this sector.

“The ConnectPro group represents a special effort by the Association to ensure the longevity of the industry by reaching out to our future workers and leaders,” commented Sam Moncada. “We encourage all industry leaders to identify their employees who would benefit from this initiative and support their participation.”

“With what we hope to accomplish and impart to this group, it is definitely beneficial for employers to support ConnectPro. Workers will be better for it and companies will reap the rewards of having more knowledgeable and professionally developed staff.”

In addition to the first meeting on March 25th, tentative meeting dates for 2020 are set on Wednesdays for June 17th, September 16th, and November 25th.

Participation is easy. Simply register here or click here to learn more. Fees are $200 + HST for all four meetings or $65 + HST per meeting. All registrations include two drinks, food, networking time and a learning session at Canyon Creek. If you have any questions, reach out to Nicole Gamble at
