COPA’s Making Waves Digital Learning Event did as it promised this month: delivering valuable and pertinent information to business professionals from leading experts.

Making Waves 2020 came to a close this morning after launching on November 5th and delivering 10 speakers throughout the month.

“We are so pleased with the caliber of speakers we were able to deliver to our members this year,” comments Nicole Gamble, COPA’s event manager. “Every single speaker provided incredibly useful information that can make a difference to participants right now.”

The event covered everything from cybersecurity to artificial intelligence to the economy to marketing to working from home to mental health; it was one of COPA’s most comprehensive speaker line-ups to date.

Held in partnership with CHHMA (Canadian Hardware and Housewares Manufacturers Association), the Zoom meetings every Tuesday and Thursday attracted a wide-range of industry participants. Feedback from participants so far indicate a high degree of engagement and applicability.

“I am so proud of my team for coordinating this highly valuable event,” states Sam Moncada, COPA’s president. “Their efforts really paid off with very engaging speakers that delivered quality information for both Associations. Every single speaker brought knowledge and expertise that I believe will help contribute to more informed decision-making among our industry leaders.”

Registered participants were provided with access to slide presentations and video recordings of the each speaker immediately following the sessions.
