Amazon Announces 100% Recyclable Delivery Packaging Across Entire European Network
Amazon has announced that 100% of its delivery packaging in Europe, including boxes, bags, and envelopes, is now recyclable. This includes items sold by Amazon and third-party selling partners using Fulfilment by Amazon (FBA). Customers receive their orders in flexible paper bags, cardboard envelopes, and corrugated cardboard boxes, which are recyclable in household recycling across Europe. Amazon is working with vendors to increase the number of products delivered in recyclable, original packaging made from cardboard and paper. The company is also implementing incentives for selling partners to reduce their packaging across its value chain.

CloroxPro’s 2023 Clean Index highlights challenges in the professional cleaning industry, with 75% of cleaning professionals stating they don’t choose eco-conscious cleaners and disinfectants.
The company suggests that eco-conscious cleaners can be as affordable and effective as traditional products, and customers should look for solutions with EPA Safer Choice or Design for the Environment logos on labels.
While three out of four cleaning professionals agree that eco-conscious cleaners and disinfectants are important to use, uncertainty remains.
When it comes to the most important quality cleaning professionals look for in eco-conscious cleaners, 82% cite killing germs effectively as No. 1.

ODP achieves SBTi validation
The ODP Corporation has earned validation from the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for its science-based targets for scope 1, scope 2, and scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions.
The targets reflect the company’s commitment to reducing emissions, including a 46.2% reduction in absolute scope 1 and 2 emissions by 2030, and a 55% reduction in scope 3 emissions from downstream transportation and distribution.
The company also pledges that 75% of its suppliers will have science-based targets by 2027, promoting sustainability throughout its supply chain.
