Amazon Business is introducing Amazon Business Restock, offering two replenishment services: managed inventory and vending.
The managed inventory service allows technicians to restock stockrooms or similar areas within a worksite, automatically reordering items. This service is available in select US cities and will continue to expand.
The ending service includes vending machines installed at workplaces, allowing account administrators to set product quantity, user, and spend limits.
Employees can access authorized items by entering a code or scanning an ID. Vending is expected to roll out in early 2025.
Products are delivered and restocked in one appointment, and continuous monitoring of inventory levels at the site and vending machine levels provides business leaders with greater visibility into usage and spend data.
“With Amazon Business Restock, we are raising the bar for what customers should expect from their suppliers. By using automated ordering capabilities and inventory reporting, we restock customers’ worksites with the supplies they need, backed by Amazon’s vast selection. As we invent and simplify for customers, I am so excited for Restock to become a core pillar of their smart business buying strategy,” said Cody Tolve, Amazon business head of services.
