Novexco has acquired School Source, a company specializing in the sale and distribution of arts and crafts products for the school sector. The family business, which operates a warehouse in Edmonton, Alberta, serves several school boards in Western Canada.
The acquisition is part of Novexco’s strategic and growth plan, strengthening its network in Alberta and accelerating growth in the school sector. The acquisition will bring significant complementarity to Novexco’s Alberta operations while adding expertise in the purchase and sale of school products.
Larry Lawrence, owner of School Source, will participate in the integration and knowledge transfer to category managers. LRT Business Solutions Ltd., a long-time client of Novexco’s wholesale division, becomes the first Hamster merchant west of Ontario. The acquisition aims to diversify and add several products to Novexco’s current range.
